Very kind in person. Asked about my ministry and was very encouraging.

As i read him, he’s still got a hangover of some liberal notions (not to mention his evangelicalized ecumenism). But I’ll never forget how he publically chided a conservative paper presentation at an ETS meeting for relying far too much on liberal sources.
