Baptist Polity and the Integrity of the Southern Baptist Convention

If the mission [New Heart Community Church] continues in its revolt, that parent church must either repudiate the mission and sever fellowship, or it will violate its own confessional integrity and effectively remove itself from “friendly cooperation” with the SBC.

NewAs usual, I appreciate Mohler

Fri, 06/20/14

As usual, I appreciate Mohler’s strong stand. As an independent Baptist, I found it interesting that Baptist polity derived from scripture for the church has been equally applied to para-church organizations by the Southern Baptists. It seems like it creates an underlying mess with a veneer of biblical order.

Why is it that my voice always seems to be loudest when I am saying the dumbest things?
