Which is the best modern translation?
Beverage sometimes put me to sleep, even early in the morning!
Thanks!

Editions

My favorite edition is the 2-volume set edited by John McNeill. The translation is by Ford Lewis Battles. This edition is just superior for the exhaustive collection of scriptural and secondary citations identified, as well as the cross-references. http://www.amazon.com/Calvin-Institutes-Christian-Religion-Set/dp/066422...

If you're having trouble staying interested, perhaps you should find a reading partner or somehow tie your reading into a larger project that is personally significant to you.

Wish you the best,

Charlie
