My dh and I want our son to learn the basics of leading congregational music. Does anyone know of some online resources that would help with this project?

Cheap is good, free is better. Laughing out loud

http://www.tetonmusic.com/conducting.htm honestly, i have not watched all of these... (which is to say that I can't vouch that the instructor doesn't use "hell" with an exclamation point at any time Smile ) But it seems like a good place to start.

It does seem like it's for a choir, but the best congregational leaders are choir directors who simplify for congregations.

Very nice!

That's great, thank you! I've been using charts, but I like the videos and explanations.

I don't think I have to worry about her using the word 'hell'- she's LDS.
