Some weeks ago I announced that a site update was coming probably by "mid July." Well, due to various factors it looks now like late August. In the mean time, enjoy a few improvements here and there to the current site.
This morning, rolled out a few changes to the comment toolbar. (Several of the toolbar buttons do not function if you have javascript disabled).
- There is now an underline button that--surprise--underlines
- The link and image buttons now pop up a small dialog so you can key in the web address (aka URL) and the text you want to appear instead of the address. But, as before, you can always paste/key a full web address in the comment text and it will be turned into a link automatically.
- Numbered and unnumbered lists buttons now allow you select several lines of text and convert them to bullet or numbered points in one click.
- Indent. There is now an indent button ">" that will cause selected text to indent.
