TD Jakes launches divinity school, draws criticism from some in academia

…is not that Jakes would start a college and name it after himself. OK, that’s a big warning sign, to be sure, but it’s not the most disappointing thing. What’s disappointing is that North Central University of Minneapolis, affiliated with the Assemblies of God, and Palmer Theological Seminary, affiliated with the American Baptists, are partnering with a man who denies the Trinity and affirms prosperity theology in this. Doesn’t rank heresy matter anymore?
