NewSix Years Late

This series of posts is at least six years late. In fact, Greg Gilbert addressed the issue here. Granted he did not have an extremely narrow scope and sphere of influence as independent baptists, but nonetheless, he hit the nail on the head. Skip the blogs and get this book into the hands of your people.

You could also say that the NT authors hit the nail on the head a very long time ago, too, so why read Gilbert’s book!?

Tyler is a pastor in Olympia, WA and works in State government.

NewNT authors

Correct, the NT authors did nail it on the head. However, man grossly misinterprets and misconstrues the Gospel beyond recognition— he turns it into non-gospel. Hence the desire to write an article presently and the need for Gilbert’s book some six years ago. The NT authors penned the gospel via inspiration of the Holy Spirit, man however has misinterpreted Scripture and presented a false gospel to the church.
