Christmas Eve with my family of 5 at a restaurant for a late lunch/early supper (avoid the crowds), This year my brother, his wife, their daughter, my mother, and 1 additional person will be going to Olive Garden. My daughter and her husband spend Christmas Day with his family, so we’ll only have 8 for dinner. Turkey and Ham and the trimmings.
Next year we’ll have 6 as my daughter is expecting their first child in July - our first grandchild!

When we celebrate Christmas with my in-laws, we gather with my mother-in-law’s extended family of about 105 on Christmas day. There is a large breakfast with ham, eggs, pancakes, and various and sundry baked goods, but the highlight for many is the brains. Yep, they eat pig brains with their Christmas breakfast. I didn’t have any this year, but I’ve eaten them in the past, and they are not entirely unpalatable.
