This is a balanced critique of the view that "ministry is a magnet for a narcissistic personality."  Certainly some -- maybe even many -- are drawn to ministry because they are narcissistic.  Most are not. And that is the point of the article.   Indeed, many of us have survived with the constant phrase from Paul echoing in our minds:

Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God... (2 Cor. 3:5)

Still, having said that, narcissistic pastors are often very popular.  Humily has not been in vouge for many years in the USA.
