Please note a few things as you register. Registered users must agree to the site Doctrinal Statement and must agree to abide by the Comment Policy. In addition, SI is for biblical fundamentalists. See the About pages for what we mean by that.

SI avoids anonymity

  • Use some variation of your real name as a username. For example, a prospective user named John Quincy Public could use J Public, JPublic, JQPublic, JohnP, John QP or even JohnQ.
  • "Handles" will not be approved for new members (Examples: "CatLover," "IFBforever," "Teach4Him," etc. More info here.)
  • Profiles are only visible to other registered users and SI does not sell or give away user information.

Completing registration

  • You will receive an email to complete the registration process.
  • Make sure "notifications@sharperiron.org" is on your allowed or non-spam list. If you do not receive your registration email, please check your spam/junk folder.

Handles are discouraged. Please use some variation of your name, such as JohnQ or JQPublic. More info here. Spaces are allowed; punctuation is not allowed except for periods, hyphens, and underscores.

Indicate whether you fully believe the points in our Doctrinal Statement and consider yourself a "fundamentalist" as we use the term here.
