Not sure who is responsible...just wanted to say thanks for the scriptures that are now in the right side bar. I appreciate it. Needful.

Thanks

It's kind of a dream of mine. What I'd really like to see is verses appearing between posts at random. There's a way to do this but the random part is tricky. So, for now they're in a sidebar. More verses coming soon. Proverbs has so many!

I like the "in between posts" idea...wonderful! Let the Holy Spirit do the moderating. Wink

It's too bad there is not a program that could discern the tone and content of a previous post, and then insert the appropriate verse in response before the next post popped up.

For instance: I would expect such a program to insert Proverbs 17:28 after nearly every post I have written! Laughing out loud

"Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding."

That would be something

Software that can reliably detect tone... that would be quite a trick. And then preach at you for it.... even better. A digital conscience.

On the other hand...

When I was Minister of Music, I tried to make sure that I did not use the same congregational songs every week. The end result was a spreadsheet/matrix that (for all practical purposes) planned out my congregational song choices 2 years in advance! Shock

It was amazing, and such a blessing, to see how many times the song(s) chosen *months* in advance matched perfectly with the message of the morning.

God is in control!!!
