"Politifact is wrong; social science does show children do best with a mom and a dad"

“Despite a wealth of social science research showing that children do best when raised by their biological, married mother and father, PolitiFact rated this claim ‘false’ after Tony Perkins… stated it on Fox News Sunday.” CPost

….Politifacts’s credibility would have been shot years ago, when it missed the obvious economic implications of Obamacare and the fact that you’ve got to have rationing to push the cost curve down—hence the death panels Sarah Palin was talking about. But protected by a cadre of journalists, for whom economics and such was not a consideration in college apparently, they remain a “go to” resource.

And on this one, one would think that these guys have never worked with children and seen the differences between kids that have both parents, and those who have not. One would also think that they’ve never seen the crime rates found wherever the rate of illegitimate births rises, or the huge amount of social research that correlates unwed parenting with a host of ills.

Put differently, exactly WHAT are journalists learning in college besides AP style?

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
