I am originally from Det and have been a Lions fan for over 30 years.....waiting....but at least they are fun to watch now when they loose...lol

My Detroit Lions story

We lived in Grand Rapids MI for a couple of years when I went to seminary.

I adopted the hapless Lions for those years

We went to the Thanksgiving game in the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pontiac_Silverdome ]Pontiac Silverdome in 1979

Detriot upset the Bears 20-0

( http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/det/1979.htm The Lions only won 2 games that year !)
