Pixels Are People

….of the early days of the Internet, and the late Mike Royko of the Chicago Tribune commented in this column about the then-new phenomenon of flaming, where young men (mostly) who couldn’t bench press a tuna salad sandwich would say things online that nobody would ever say in a bar or even a coffee shop.

By the way, I got a new max on my bench press today, six tuna salad sandwiches.
