10 key shifts churches must consider as they minister in an ever-changing world

Is it me, or is there a different paradigm every week?

"The Midrash Detective"

….reminds me of the old “Dilbert” where the engineers play “buzzword bingo” during a staff meeting. Same thing with “lead metrics” and the like.

Just looked up Rainer and “Lifeway Christian Resources”, and it appears he’s wanting to keep his foot in the pool of seminaria (from whence he came), and it also appears they’ve got quite the HQ in Nashville. 20 stories or so? Wow. Now I realize you need office space for people who are producing new materials, but if I were Rainer, I’d spend a bit less time on lists and a bit more on seeing what they can do to make sure their headquarters cost is in line with their business model. Maybe they have that many authors and such in Nashville, or maybe they’re renting out a lot of it to others (say SBC ministries or something), but that’s a big building for a group that has only 186 stores.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.

A new article suggestion for Bro. Rainer - “10 Reasons Why I Should Stop Writing Articles About Lists.”

Joking aside, Rainer is trying to build his podcast, and he’s using these short and easy to write articles to do that. He isn’t trying to be substantive.
