"Head of Christ" removed from Ohio school ... had been displayed since 1947

Lesson learned: One family can blackmail an entire community into compliance with an expensive lawsuit.

Isn’t that just peachy.

How appropriate:

Tyler is a pastor in Olympia, WA and works in State government.

It isn’t about the picture necessarily. The picture was donated to the school in 1947. It was considered by most in the community as a piece of the history of the school/community.

I think it is also interesting that the community was overwhelmingly in favor of keeping it, but the school didn’t want to use taxpayer funds to pay for the lengthy litigation process.
